Seismic Analysis is the process of evaluating the structural integrity and operational reliability of critical fire protection equipment and systems to ensure their performance during and after an earthquake. ANKUG ENGINEERING is qualified by the Korea Foundation of Nuclear Safety (KoFONS) to perform seismic performance verification, including seismic analysis, testing, and evaluation for fire protection facilities.
Our work is carried out in accordance with KEPIC, Quality Assurance Programs (QAP), ASME NQA-1, IEEE 344, IEEE 323, IEEE 382, ASME Section VIII, and KHNP’s technical specifications. We demonstrate compliance and equipment reliability through vibration and seismic tests that reflect actual operating conditions, supporting certification and ensuring the safety of nuclear power plants and other critical infrastructure.
