Thermal Runaway Propagation Protection

The Thermal Runaway Propagation Protection system is a stationary fire suppression solution specifically designed for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), where thermal runaway events may occur.

Technologies such as direct injection systems introduce suppression agents (F-500 EA, FK-5-1-12, or fire water) directly into the battery cell or module to rapidly reduce temperature and prevent propagation to adjacent cells, modules, or units.

Water Mist System

Water Mist Systems discharge ultra-fine water droplets at high or low pressure to achieve simultaneous cooling, radiant heat reduction, and oxygen displacement, providing an advanced form of water-based fire suppression. Because they require significantly less water than conventional sprinkler systems, they offer high heat absorption efficiency while minimizing water damage to protected areas.

The system’s low electrical conductivity also makes it suitable for environments containing electrical, electronic, or high-value equipment—such as electrical rooms, turbine halls, data centers, and engine compartments—where both fire suppression performance and equipment protection are critical. With these combined advantages, Water Mist Systems are widely applied as a high-performance suppression solution for sensitive and high-risk facilities.

Dry & Wet Chemical System

Dry Chemical Systems interrupt combustion through chemical reactions and are used for metal fires, flammable liquids, and industrial process hazards requiring immediate knockdown.

Wet Chemical Systems are specialized for Class K fires in commercial kitchens, using a saponification mechanism to suppress fire and prevent re-ignition. Both systems are widely applied in industrial and commercial high-risk environments.

Gas Detection System

Gas Detection Systems continuously monitor for hazardous gases such as hydrogen, battery off-gas, hydrocarbons, toxic gases, and oxygen-deficiency conditions.

They enable early detection and automatic integration with ventilation, shutdown, and alarm systems. This technology is essential for BESS facilities, hydrogen plants, chemical industries, and other high-hazard applications.
